Horseback Riding

When booking any Equine Offering, guests/ owners must specify:

  1. Number of Riders Total and Number of Adults vs. Children
  2. Ability level of each rider (see below) – for safety reasons and ideal pairing
  3. Adult riders weight/ height (don’t need to include names) – for safety reasons and ideal pairing
  4. Age of each child
  5. Time of day you would like to ride (we will do our best to accommodate but may make suggestions)
  6. Desired length of ride or lesson (minimum trail ride 30-45 minutes)

Ability Levels:

  • Novice – Has never ever ridden, or ridden less than 5 times in life
  • Beginner – Has ridden more than 5 times but not recently, or used to ride a lot when younger
  • Intermediate – Has taken some lessons recently or ridden more than 10 times in past few years
  • Advanced – Rides or takes lessons multiple times/ week consistently, comfortable on most horses
  • Expert – Rides almost every day, “horse trainer”, confident on any horse and in most situations

Note: Confidence/ nervousness will be considered, if rider is very timid or nervous to ride that is important for us to know as the horses can sense it.
